LADY WANDA'S ENCOURAGEMENT

Jesus Heals

Scripture Reference:  Matthew 8:16 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.

These days, we are living in a time when the virus seems to be all that is being discussed and thought about.  The media continues to show the number of infected and the number of deaths.  What seems to be missing is the number of people who have survived the virus.  That number would provide us hope and give us the knowledge that all isn’t lost.

Our scripture reference lets us know that Jesus is able to heal all of the sick, not just some, but ALL of the sick.  Believers know Jesus as Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals.  He is able.  If we believe that Jesus is who we know Him to be, then we should have the confidence to know that He is still in the healing business.  I know what you are thinking…but many people have died from the virus and that is true, there have been many people to transition from their Earthly bodies, but the bible doesn’t say where the healing is taking place, it just says that Jesus heals.  He could have very well healed those people once they transitioned.  For believers, we know that death isn’t the end, it is just a transition.  We have eternity to look forward too.  So, there is a blessing in the healing whether we are on this side of heaven or the other.

Be encouraged today that God is working things out for our good and His glory.  The bible says it this way in Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.  Things are not always as they appear.  That is why the bible tells us to walk by faith and not by sight.  If you know the story of Abraham, when God told him to sacrifice his son, right as he was about to kill his son, God placed a ram in bush.  He is always working it out.  We just have to be obedient to His word and His will and know that He has a perfect plan for our lives.  Don’t get caught up in the situations and circumstances of the world, keep your eyes fixed on the heavenly things.  You have to believe God is working on your behalf even when you can’t see Him.

Let’s pray!

Heavenly Father, we thank you for working things out for us.  We believe by faith, that it is done.  Continue to bless and keep all of us in Your perfect will and we will be mindful to give You all the glory because You are worthy.  In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!
